A COVID Poem

How do we get from here to there?
Or do we sit with vacant stare?
Is there a problem to be solved?
How should you become involved?
Define the problem, make it plain,
Then sit down, and use your brain.
What might fix it? You will ask,
Testing that becomes your task.
You may be right, you may be wrong,
Your trial will prove what facts belong.
Examine the data, then do it all again,
If you find the truth, you’ll know when.
You might cure cancer, or stop the plague,
And for your vaccine, we’ll all beg.
Gone the way of Polio and Pox,
As the virus it will block.
We’re safer now, thank you mNRA,
Ninety percent effective, by the way.
Science gave you a chance to live,
Show you’re smart and cognitive!
