He vowed to fix the reflecting pool,
By breaking every procurement rule.
I’ll get my pool guy to fix it all,
Just like Mexico paid for my Wall.
I’ll have it done by July the Fourth,
Before the Lemmings can head back North.
The color I choose is American Blue,
How can I lose, with a color so true?
Then I’ll inspect it from my armored car,
What could go wrong? Limos can’t mar.
The liner is done, now comes the fun,
Just add some water, these colors won’t run
In a few short days it was plain to see,
The pool was full of bright green algae.
Someone used oxide, and ruined my game,
Trying to smother my brilliance and fame.
Then came the tears, the bubbles and such,
He blamed some poor feller for daring to touch.
The vandals have ruined my beautiful pool!
And if you believe that, you’re a damn fool.
Just ask Judge Piro who said with a frown,
This case was brought by a carnival clown.

This poem made me love the thought of the history of Trump’s “reign” that will be in your books for everyone to see for generations! ! Are you still adding them to one of your earlier publications? Or has your eye thing made that too difficult?
I am on hold as far as new books until we move and my vision gets better. I’ll probably add the political poems like this one to my alreasdy publishec Banned in Florida book.
